- Michael HThis is a review of Thonburi Thai Food at their old location at the Blue Mountain Resort. But their food should be just as good at their Wasaga now Collinswood location of #ThonburiThaiFood we started with a warm, luscious #tomKha soup it was yummy, one of my favorite soups. It has Lovely Galangal and lemongrass flavors with Thai Basil, Kaffir Lime, Coconut Milk, Cabbage, and Carrot. The soup didn’t have mushrooms in it which is a plus for my allergy hampered husband. We had A nicely spiced pineapple #redCurry It had lovely sweetness and was accompanied with a great amount of rice. I’m a lover of noodles so we had the house version of #PadThai called PAD THONBURI (aka - Thai Style Pad Thai) Rice noodle, Bean Sprout, Egg, Crushed Peanuts, Green Onion, Thonburi House Sauce which was great. we both enjoyed the local (Blue Mountain) #pearCider from #Ardiel a nice dry cider that complimented the yummy sweet, flavorful, Thai food. - Rakib JTried this restaurant for the first time and loved their food. The fried rice and Tom Yum hot and sour soup were delicious, and the service was superb. Additionally, they have halal chicken and promised to include a halal beef option in the future. I'll definitely be trying it again.
